This backyard was very muddy and had drainage issues. The unique lot size presented some challenges with some minimal sunlight to mostly shade. A small sitting patio was added in the sunniest spot, paver slab steppers set through mulched areas, and drainage was installed with synthetic turf to keep it mud-free. Dog paws now stay clean! Combined with new plants, a dry creek bed and landscape lighting, this low-maintenance backyard can be enjoyed year around in the PNW.
